We brew beer to bring people together, which is reflected in the values of the organizations we partner with. Without a local community of leaders, artists, and passionate dreamers we would have never grown to become the brewery we are today.
We keep it local by adorning each can and bottle label with artwork created by some of Georgia’s most unique artists. We also work with local non-profits like Shakespeare on Draught to celebrate art in all forms. You can join us in supporting by purchasing artwork online, and sharing content digitally with friends.
You can look out our back door and see why Atlanta is known for being a “city in the forest.” Atlanta’s beautiful parks make for attractive views from our brewery, and we’d like to keep it that way.
With an ever-echoing precept teaching us never to look back, we choose instead to focus ahead; enhancing our future, community, and our industry by always giving back to our humble beginnings.
THE PROBLEM + THE GOAL
The perception and reality of the craft beer industry is that it’s dominated by white men. As an industry we lose out on valuable insights from a more diverse group of people, so we are looking to establish a paid training program that encompasses all aspects of the brewery business to help a diverse group of people develop the skills to be effective leaders in a craft brewery.
The Orpheus Brewing Leadership Diversity Program provides a unique opportunity for people from diverse backgrounds to develop the skills necessary for a leadership career in the craft brewing industry. This six month training program includes a $1500/mo stipend and health insurance.
As a Fellow, your time will be split with 50% dedicated to packaging and warehouse work or other work as needed, and 50% of the time dedicated to multiple rotation assignments over six months to provide broad experience in core areas of the brewery business. Throughout this fellowship, you will be working closely with the CEO and other high level management.
