In the early days of the brewery, there wasn’t much I didn’t do around here.
With Orpheus starting as a dream in my kitchen and opening with a pretty bootstrap budget, I was responsible for brewing, marketing, branding, government relations, maintenance, and all the other random things that needed doing with a startup.
Every time I’ve gotten to share or hand-off some of those responsibilities to someone in our expanding team is a great day for Orpheus. It allows me to focus more and more on the things I really know how to do — mainly making beer and coming up with branding that makes people question if we’re okay — and allows people that actually know what they’re doing to lead the charge elsewhere.
A lingering, ugly vestige of the old days has been our website, largely developed and maintained — or not maintained, as has often been the case — by me. If it’s not obvious, I’m not a website developer. It’s been a long time coming, and I’m thrilled to finally let go of this. Roam around, learn more about what we do here at Orpheus, and make sure you check back often because Alicia is taking the reigns and will be doing a much better job at keeping this up to date than I ever did!
